The Al Rass Solar PV Project, located in Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia, is an 805 MW utility-scale development designed to advance the Kingdom’s sustainable energy goals. Currently in the permitting stage, this project will be among the key contributors to Saudi Arabia’s National Renewable Energy Program, which seeks to diversify the energy mix and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.
Once completed, the project is expected to supply clean electricity to thousands of homes, significantly reducing carbon emissions. Developed by Ar Rass Solar Energy with support from leading global contractors, this project is strategically aligned with Vision 2030, focusing on economic diversification and environmental sustainability. Key technologies include single-axis tracking systems, JA Solar PV modules, and Sungrow’s high-efficiency inverters.
