The Qatar RLIC Solar PV Project is a flagship renewable energy initiative situated in Doha. With a planned capacity of 458 MW, this large-scale solar development is being executed by QatarEnergy Renewable Solutions as part of the nation’s growing commitment to clean energy. It will cover approximately 5.1 square kilometers and is strategically designed to align with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, which emphasizes environmental development and energy diversification.
Leveraging advanced solar technologies such as single-axis trackers and high-efficiency inverters, the project is expected to significantly reduce Qatar’s carbon footprint. With Samsung C&T overseeing EPC works, and component suppliers including JA Solar, Trina Solar, and Sungrow Power Supply, the project is being built with global expertise and innovation at its core.
